Matthew Hurst grew up in Norfolk, UK, mostly lived in Nottingham, UK and now he’s in Canada. He's had work produced by the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Ukrainian TV and has written journalism and copy for clients since he left school. He's mostly doing a serialisation of his twisted, funny retro murder mystery based loosely on his childhood, told through the medium of the 1980s village newsletter.
